Daniel Vlasov was born in 1982 in Rostov-on-Don city, the southern region of Russia. He tried to compose his first pieces for the piano in the age of five.
In the age of twelve he startes to learn musical disciplines with professor V. Khodosh.
In 1997 Daniel wins the Grand prix on the first composer competition of A. Artamonov in Rostov-on-Don.
In 1999-2000 Daniel founds a new club project and performes his own music as a DJ and MC in many clubs of Russia's southern region. He takes part in the greatest Millennium party in Rostov with Bogdan Titomir, the famous russian showman. The project uses live acoustic and electronic performance and multimedia instruments.
Daniel graduates Rostov State Rachmaninov Conservatory in 2004 as a composer. His graduation work is performed by Rostov filarmonic orchestra three times in different concerts.
Daniel participated in master-classes of Victor Ekimovsky and Allain Gaussin.
In 2006 Daniel wins the Third prize and conductor's prize on the international composer competition dedicated to Mozart.
Daniel is a member of Russian Union of Composers.
Daniel experiments with electronic music and multimedia arts. He is also interested in theatre, motion pictures and club life.

February 11th, 2010F. Lednyov and eNsemble PRO ARTE performed the music by composers-finalists of the 3rd competition "Step aside" in the Main hall of Saint-Petersburg's Radio Museum. October 22nd, 2009The Nostri Temporis ensemble performed a new piece by Daniel Vlasov in Moscow. May 4th, 2009Music pieces of the Orpheus contest finalists were presented over the radio. April 23rd, 2009The "Orpheus" radio organized a concert, where Vlasov's new piece was performed. It happened at the fifth studio in Moscow. March 14th, 2009Another concert of the chamber orchestra "Kremlin" in Moscow Pushkin museum. The orchestra performed pieces by Bach, Mozart, Tischenko and Vlasov. |
